Hvidbjerg Strand offers free Wi-Fi at the campsite. However, guests should expect that the wireless network does not always work 100% optimally. There are many factors that affect the quality.
Trees: When the wireless signal has to pass through vegetation, the signal is weakened. When the leaves of the trees are wet, the signal is significantly weakened.
Buildings are also an obstacle to the Wi-Fi signal: Thick walls and thatched roofs are a significant barrier. Guests will often find that the signal works outside the caravan but not inside. This is because the signal weakens significantly when it passes through the caravan - the same applies to cars, which also "shadow" the signal. Usually there is a much better signal outside the caravan.
Military radar: There is also a large military radar in the area, which at times has a large negative impact on the strength of the signal.
The best signal: For a secure signal, we refer to Play City and our communal buildings. Often you can log in at a building and "carry" the signal with you into the park.
As all these conditions are dynamic, you will find that the signal will vary throughout the day.
