Take an excursion to Varde

Varde is a very old town and is located approximately 18 kilometres north of Esbjerg and almost 25 kilometres from Hvidbjerg Strand. The town is located by the Varde River. The town centre is characterised by an old market town environment and is an obvious destination for a day trip, where you'll find shops, cafés and a market in the square in the summer.
Varde Miniby, which shows the market town of Varde in miniature format, is a short walk from the centre.

In the most western part of Denmark, the town of Varde offers a very special attraction
In the middle of the idyllic Arnsbjergpark, in the heart of Varde town, you'll find a true miniature replica of Varde town as it looked around 1860. Varde Miniby is the world's oldest correctly constructed miniature town. The miniature town is built at a scale of 1:10 and consists of a total of around 300 miniature houses, with new buildings being added every year.

Access to wellness, water park and playground

As a camper in the spring and autumn periods, you always have free access to the playground and waterpark (once a day). For seasonal guests, access to the wellness centre costs either DKK 50 or DKK 100 depending on the period.

If you have overnight guests, it is possible to purchase access for them by contacting the reception.

Blåvand

Blåvand has shops open all year round with a wide selection.

You'll find restaurants, cafés and activity centres for the whole family. There are also service businesses such as craftsmen and estate agents that are open all year round.

There are plenty of things to do regardless of the season.

Ho Bay and Skallingen

The west coast and Wadden Sea offer rich wildlife, migratory birds, seal watching and oyster hunting. Walk to Langli Island at low tide, but remember to check the tides. Cycle to Skallingen for stunning views, a quiet beach and good chances of seeing seals.

Waterpark with hours of water fun for young and old

Camping, holidays and water parks are a perfect combination. Everyone staying overnight has the opportunity to experience our water park, where both children and adults can enjoy whizzing down the slide together or relaxing in the dripstone grotto. It's an ideal way to have some extra fun and relaxation with the family during your stay.

Have a fun day with the family in our trampoline centre and bounce home tired afterwards. Enjoy trampolines of all shapes and sizes, including wall tramps and a trampoline track with soft landing in the foam pad. Practise flip-flops and somersaults on our airtrack or jump on the big trampolines and land softly in a giant cushion!
